Job Description

Corporate Properties Technology (CPT) provides technology enablement and support services to the Corporate Properties Group (CPG) line of business which includes management and governance of multiple building technology assets deployed across Wells Fargos property portfolio. These technology assets support building management, corporate (physical) security and other needs and include supervisory controllers, sensors, and other Internet of Things (IoT) type devices as well as traditional IT assets such as network switches, PCs and servers. The Building Technologies Competency Center Manager will manage a team of analysts who are responsible for governance and reporting for each of their respective areas which consist of technology asset management, configuration management, vulnerability remediation/patching management, and access management, as well as overall competency center reporting. Reporting will encompass compliance metrics, issues, corrective actions and other items as necessary. The role will engage and collaborate with EIT, CPG and other LOB groups responsible for managing the assets, as well as with the SACM Domain leads/teams responsible for overall governance.


The qualified candidate should have proven experience leading and/or governing teams to come into compliance with technology asset management practices / control standards. A solid understanding of service asset and configuration management practices is required. Ability to work with multiple managers, team leads, business partners, technology partners and vendors to drive secure, cost effective and efficient compliance solutions.

Key area of responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with Building Technology (BT) asset management teams to govern compliance to all Service Asset and Configuration Management control standards for Building Technologies including Technology Asset Management, Configuration Management, Vulnerability Remediation, Enterprise Patching, and Access Management
  • Provide guidance to BT asset managers and staff to work towards compliance and to provide data reporting in prescribed formats
  • Provide enterprise reporting and metrics compliance across all aspect of Building Technology service asset and configuration management
  • Resource capacity planning and allocation to ensure optimum resource utilization
  • Liaise with Enterprise IT SACM domain owners, Technology Risk, Enterprise Information Security, Audit, business partners, onshore and offshore staff and teams to work through areas of ambiguity and align on solutions
  • Review compliance gaps with BT asset managers and align on issues and corrective action plans

The preferred work location is NC-Charlotte but other continental US locations are acceptable.



Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technology experience
  • 2+ years of leadership or management experience, in a technology environment



Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • 2+ years of reporting experience
  • Ability to identify and manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Managing deployment and ongoing management and resolution of technical issues
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Building Technologies or Internet of Things (IoT) devices
  • Service Asset and Configuration Management experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology asset management, configuration management, vulnerability remediation management, enterprise patching management and access management
  • Ability to manage vendor resources toward delivery
