Corporate Properties Technology (CPT) provides technology enablement and support services to the Corporate Properties Group (CPG) line of business which includes management and governance of multiple building technology assets deployed across Wells Fargos property portfolio. These technology assets support building management, corporate (physical) security and other needs and include supervisory controllers, sensors, power supplies, conference room end points and other Internet of Things (IoT) type devices as well as traditional IT assets.

The Business Systems Consultant will also work closely with the Building Technologies Competency Center which consists of centralized governance for technology asset management, configuration management, vulnerability remediation/patching management, and access management, as well as overall competency center reporting for all Building Technologies managed by various support groups across the enterprise. Reporting will encompass compliance metrics, issues and corrective actions. This includes, performing process and control reviews, facilitating risk management discussions and issues tracking, driving remediation initiatives, metrics reporting and drafting policy exceptions and compliance.

Responsibilities include governance the IT outsourcing vendors to make sure services meet SLAs and are compliant to policy, interfacing with SACM domain owners and other Competency Centers, reporting, and liaison with CPG to coordinate efforts and make sure services meet expectations. It also includes reviewing/approving change requests, invoicing and service quality.

The role will engage and collaborate with multiple EIT teams, CPG and other LOB groups responsible for managing the assets. Must have a solid understanding of business process leaderships, controls, and execution and tracking. Ability to work with multiple managers, team leads, business partners, technology partners and vendors to drive secure, cost effective and efficient compliance solutions.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
  • Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements.
  • Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes.
  • Prepares specifications for system changes.
  • Recommends and initiates systems testing.
  • Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies.
  • Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.

The preferred work locations are Charlotte, NC. Preference will be given to those candidates that either currently live in or are willing to relocate to this location with limited to no relocation assistance. Remote work may be an option for those candidates that have previous telecommuting and Wells Fargo experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • 4 + years of experience gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets
  • 3+ years of design, implementation and governance experience with Robotic Process Automation or Business Process Automation architectures
  • 3+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements
  • 2+ years of risk management experience
  • 2+ years of experience with analytical methods used in statistical analysis, modeling, and reporting
  • 2+ years of technology vendor management experience including hardware, software or professional services

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage software vendors and vendor resources toward delivery
  • Knowledge and understanding of asset management function support
  • Configuration Management Tools experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology process management improvements
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to identify and manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization
  • Managing deployment and ongoing management and resolution of technical issues
  • Knowledge and understanding of information security risk assessment procedures, risk mitigation or remediation
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Banking industry experience
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project) skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 3 years of business systems technology experience
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing a Risk Based Approach for prioritization and planning
  • Wells Fargo business analysis experience
