Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) businesses build enduring client relationships through sound, thoughtful and objective advice. We help our clients by developing individualized plans for everything from retirement goals to business succession planning, to family legacy intentions. Services include comprehensive planning and advice, investment management, brokerage, private banking, estate planning strategies, trust, and both individual and institutional retirement.

The Wealth Strategy and Trading application delivery team within the Wealth & Investment Management Technology (WIMT) group is looking for a Business Systems Consultant to support applications that provide solutions to the Wealth Strategy team.

The successful candidate will provide technical consultation acting as a liaison between client area, vendor and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems and support.

The candidate will be responsible for leading the process of gathering requirements and producing written specifications for new and existing Investment systems. The position will assist management in ensuring that all systems are compliant with all corporate standards, follow the change management process, and that all projects and/or applications will pass any technical audit. Will be required to communicate and interact with various levels of business leaders to define and understand requirements.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of business systems analysis experience, design experience, or a combination of both7+ years of experience writing Business Requirements Documents (BRD's)7 + years of experience writing Functional Specifications Documents (FSD's)

Other Desired Qualifications 3+ years in Enterprise-grade Investment Decision Support, Investment Modeling, or Trading Systems 3 years experience working with software development teams in large enterprise organizations Operational knowledge and understanding of financial services product terminology

Trade lifecycle comprehension:
o Trade order management user
o Model Management
o Trade / Data flow knowledge
o Back office knowledge

Experience with Custody Platforms and associated operations is a plus Experience with following functional business policies of a department Experience or familiar with Compliance Experience with enterprise messaging tools and transformation (such as Solace, Virtual Data Power, MQ Series, etc.) Experience with PAC2K/Quality Center / Test Director / ALM is a plus Bachelor degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Finance or related discipline Strong and effective technical problem-solving skills including research and diagnostic skills Understanding of project planning in technical and fast pace environment Previous experience in communicating between technology and business partners Experience working with offshore team members Experience working in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based environment Strong presentation skills and experience in presenting to senior management
