The Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) group has an exciting opportunity for a senior level Business Systems Consultant in our SACM Governance team. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, managing, supporting, and monitoring governance frameworks that address all aspects of Service Asset and Configuration Management.

This role will provide guidance to effectively manage and execute key technology asset and configuration management activities and objectives by developing, implementing and monitoring a governance-based activities at an enterprise level to mitigate risk that arises from internal processes and standards. Act as a liaison with our business partners to provide a broad enterprise perspective of SACM while effectively analyzing highly complex business issues, ensuring identification of underlying root cause and determining acceptable solutions for resolution. This role will initiate and lead efforts to develop innovative solutions to unique and/or complex business challenges.

  • Leads efforts for SACM continuous process improvement activities to mitigate risk, identify controls, close gaps, and influences effective, accurate and timely practices, which ensures alignment to the Enterprise Information Technology Target Operating Model.
  • Assess and monitor policy/standards exceptions to ensure remediation mitigates risk and achieves compliance.
  • Provide analysis of business case to ensure risk mitigation/remediation and provide analysis/opinion regarding acceptance of risk with senior/executive leadership.
  • Conduct analysis to determine underlying cause and determine acceptable solutions for resolution to address complex business issues
  • Monitor business metrics and evidence that illustrates compliance with SACM policy, standards and processes
  • Work independently and with user groups to resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommends change to the SACM functions
  • Act as an internal consultant and is a single point of contact to provide monitoring, guidance, direction and clarification relating to SACM Governance to all levels of management
  • May provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of presenter experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts
  • 2 + years of experience working on cross-organization initiatives
  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology

  • Exposure to Wells Fargo's Remedy Asset Management (PAC2000) application
  • Knowledge and understanding of risk assessments documentation development
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical leadership including large, visible, cross group projects across multiple technologies
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
  • Solid critical thinking skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals

  • Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with technology hardware and/or software asset and/or configuration management
  • Experience in developing governance and oversight programs
  • Experience in process management
  • Proven ability in exercising independent judgment and apply prudent risk mitigation principles
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and solve problems in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated ability to cope well with change in a dynamic environment and deal effectively with ambiguity
