Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Brand Sales Specialist you'll be able to do the following tasks/function:
  • You are responsible for the sale of IBM z Systems and Power Systems hardware and software products to both existing and new clients in a defined territory.
  • You will maintain and grow existing revenue streams and relationships while penetrating high-reaching environments and winning new workloads which will be measured by monthly, quarterly and annual targets
  • Key to success in this role is close collaboration and partnerships across the IBM sales eco-system (with client relationship teams, pre- and post-sale technical resources, and specialists representing other IBM product units) and business partner eco-system (including authorized resellers, systems integrators and independent software vendors).

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • You need to have good aptitude with different information technology solutions, efficient territory management discipline and excellent communications skills both written and verbal are minimum requirements in this position.
  • You need knowledge of the IBM server portfolio, solid financial selling and business casing skills is an asset but not a mandatory requirement.
    Collaborate with IBM Business Partners as extended teams to cover REACH accounts and have ability to direct and guide them on system plays, tactics, positioning and competitive pricing strategies
  • Your ability to learn and lpply IBM brand strategies, methods and processes is needed , i.e. price bid loading, necessary to support the selling cycle from start to the end of the engagement
  • You need to develop opportunities and sell Linux, AIX (UNIX), or IBM i (rpg) based solutions with Business Partners and drive engagement progression to close
