Your Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible to accomplish department objectives by:
Organizing, implementing, and monitoring interconnected projects, deciding on suitable strategies and solutions, as well as co-ordinating cross project activities.

Demonstrate knowledge of occupational health & safety regulations, AODA, CSST and WCB/WSIB programs across Canada.
Demonstrate expertise in occupational health services, disability case management and confidentiality and privacy of personal health information. Provide advice and counsel to the business unit leaders, HR partners, managers and employees on a variety of issues and questions related to disability management, workplace accommodations, health and safety, preventive health measures and health benefits and health promotion.
Accountable for individual and team results. Work on special projects, developing and implementing occupational health services.
Provide professional expertise and advice and counsel in occupational health & safety and disability case management.
Interpret global occupational health practices, country specific regulations, HR guidelines and policies that reference an employees ability to either return to work or remain at work.
Challenge the validity of processes and procedures for continuous process improvement, effectiveness and efficiency.
Assist the client in understanding the mission and vision of the Corporate Health & Safety organization and how it aligns with the IBM business strategy.
Recognize job related problems, determine causes and recommend solutions. Able to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
Meet with stakeholders, including vendors to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
Maintain excellent service delivery by enforcing quality and global standards, analyzing and resolving client concerns, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending/complete professional development courses, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking best practices and/or membership in professional organizations.
Analyze data to create accurate and timely reports

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Proficient in English and French (written and oral)
Minimum of 5 years experience in occupational health services
Bachelor degree in nursing or related sciences such as Health Administration, Public Health
Minimum of 5 years experience in disability case management
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor degree in Nursing
Certification in disability case management
Minimum of 2 years experience in project/program management
