This position must sit onsite in Addison, TX.

The 2 Automation Engineers will be responsible for working as part of the ESQA (Enterprise Quality Assurance) team specifically focusing on Customer Due Diligence initiatives. The team has about 60 resources helping with this initiative and we are hiring 2 new team members to continue our automation efforts.

This position is responsible for:

  • Responsible for handling highly complex quality assurance and test environment problems and issues
  • Creates and Maintains automation framework using Selenium
  • Creates and Maintains automation scripts
  • Works with development teams to help implement optimized and re-usable test automation functions
  • Prepares test approach and test scripts based on Stories/BRDs/FSDs
  • Reviews automation code to ensure standards and processes are followed, and advices on optimization of code
  • Implements continuous integration using Jenkins
  • Executes automation scripts and manual test cases, when necessary
  • Works closely with Business and Technology partners on defect resolutions
  • Keeps test documentation up to date
  • Leads the creation, preparation, review and execution of quality assurance activities
  • Works with Business and Technology partners to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology and to resolve escalated issues during the testing process
  • Analyzes application specific software and performs ambiguity reviews of business requirements and technical functional specification documents
  • Uses advanced knowledge of applications in identifying, evaluating, and resolving highly complex test problems
  • Researches new products and industry methodologies and facilitates the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards for testing
  • Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff to resolve critical and non-routine scenarios
  • Supports Production validations during late evenings and/or weekends
  • Provides on-call support (if needed) outside regular office hours to troubleshoot issues and work with EGS and technology partners.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 8+ years of quality assurance experience
  • 4 + years of automation or regression testing experience
  • 3+ years of Java experience
  • 3+ years of Agile experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 2 + years of experience with server administration and job creation using Jenkins Continuous Integration server
  • Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as VersionOne and Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • 1+ year of JIRA experience
  • 1 + years of Confluence WikiD experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: creation of test plans and test scenarios
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: strategies, test plans, test cases ,and test scripts development
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience using Selenium and Java
  • Experience with Wells Fargo Wholesale QA processes
  • Experience with implementing automation frameworks from scratch
  • Experience working with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) methodology using Cucumber


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
