Enterprise Systems Quality Assurance (ESQA) group ensures our customers receive the best possible online experience in the industry. This Wells Fargo Digital Channels Technology Quality Assurance Group Automation Platform Lead position will be responsible for providing day-to-day direction for a small-sized, highly complex technology work unit. The Automation Platform Lead will be responsible forimplementing Shift Left software and system testing, leading with Automation testing capabilities within the Quality Assurance team.The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge across numerous technologies as well as experience managing the discovery, enablement, and utilization of Black/White Box testing strategies, Service Virtualization within our project testing/regression cycles, and mobile automation.Additionally the ideal candidate will have a strong JAVA development background which will help expand the teams current testing methodology.The selected candidate will work closely with the Software Engineering team, Line of Business, and Stress Performance testing team to meet the business objectives and goals of the department.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Coordinating with Architects for any CORE level framework changes
  • Perform and Review Framework changes (Platform/Project Level)
  • Perform Automation Code management (Branching and Merging)
  • Code and String Test Review
  • Develop and Own Technology testing enablement for the platform
  • Hiring, Mentoring and Training
  • Regression/Automation Technical Enhancements
  • Forecasting and resource planning for responsible area
  • Preparing and maintaining Training manuals

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 7+ years of Java experience
  • 5 + years of automation or regression testing experience
  • 3+ years of HP ALM experience
  • 4+ years of business systems analysis or design experience
  • 4 + years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles
  • 4 + years of experience with server administration and job creation using Jenkins Continuous Integration server
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience
  • 4+ years of workload automation tool experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 2+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 2+ years of financial services experience
  • 2+ years of mobile banking experience
  • Experience supporting or directing offshore teams
  • Leadership experience including; coaching, training, and mentoring
  • Leadership experience with ability to effectively manage and engage teams
  • Knowledge and understanding of Selenium software testing framework
  • Knowledge and understanding of automated testing frameworks for mobile software



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 4+ years of ANT or Maven experience or equivalent tools


Job Expectations

  • Must be able to attend training and off-site office events outside office hours
  • Flexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours
  • Flexibility to address incidents as needed 24 hours a day
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
