Our client has an exciting opportunity for a temporary Associate Product Manager for a 12+ month project in Roseville, CA. The Associate Product Manager is responsible to assist Product Manager, Sr. or Head of Product Management with data and customer analytics. Responsible for product analysis and validation, financial reporting for the product department and for the creation and maintenance of marketing campaign and dashboards. Responsibilities include evaluation of profitability, and tracking of customer trends and product usage, as well as leveraging customer and market data to identify sales opportunities and track usage of the Bank's product lines. Assists in the development of product and sales budgets and in controlling budget variations. Assists with the development of product forecasts. Responsible for generating monthly management reports on product usage and profitability. Assists in the preparation of RFP's and project documentation. Generates client profitability reports as needed for branches and Management. Assists in the planning and execution of promotional and advertising campaigns. See the big picture and recognize how the role contributes to the larger objectives to ensure sales partner success in developing, managing, nurturing, and utilizing their database.

Responsibilities will include and are not limited to the following:

Leads and manages all aspects of product data file management.

Develop strategies to improve the cleanliness, breadth, and depth of product files and databases.

Develop , generate, and maintain product reports and provides analysis of product lines to assist Product Managers.

Identify and implement new innovative ways to drive engagement across product offerings.

Evaluate product customer usage and profitability and makes recommendations for changes.

Monitors activity and provide reports to management to evaluate and justify pricing exceptions and waivers.

Partners with Head of Product Management and Product Managers to research, recommend, and analyze impact of product and service pricing.

Conducts competitive product research as required.

Responsible , in partnership with product management team for budgeting and forecasting for new and enhanced products. Assists with RFP generation and Project Planning and Management documents.

Partner with Data Warehouse and technical teams to define data needs and reporting requirements. Responsible for ensuring integrity of reporting/data being produced and disseminated.

Leads the set-up, execution and reporting of product promotions and campaigns. Partner with Product Manager to develop campaign goals and tracking.

Develops and maintains profitability model to analyze product and customer profitability Update model cost and revenue drivers periodically and ensure that new products are included, as they are introduced.

Ad Hoc Customer, Product, Profitability, and other analytics as need.

Performs all other job duties as assigned by supervisor.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required with an additional minimum of 4 years related sales/product/analyst experience required including experience in report writing and data analysis; or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

Proficient with MS Office suite and Internet.

Possess excellent human relations, communications and business writing skills.

Possess effective time management and organizational skills.

Able to cope with pressure resulting from meeting required deadlines and reporting requirements.

Demonstrate teamwork in facilitating workflow. High level of cooperation with others and responsive to the Bank's needs.

Must be able to travel throughout bank's footprint to perform required duties (less than 25%).
