Job Description:

The Prevent, Analytics and Deposit Ops team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced senior Java developer to be part of the Enhanced Fraud Detection Enterprise Solution (EFDES) application which is an integral part of the EIT Fraud Ecosystem. EFDES is an in-house developed Fraud scoring suite of tools that mitigates and prevents fraud from numerous channels throughout the bank. This position is responsible for developing fraud detection scoring strategies and building interfaces to/from various SOR platforms to include Kafka and the enterprise Data Lake.

The position requires a mix of analyzing highly complex fraud strategies business requirements, technical design skills, expert coding and leadership skills. A successful candidate will leverage multiple technologies for effective development and support all facets of development- from ideation through implementation. This position will utilize Core Java, J2EE, Eclipse, SOAP, REST, Tomcat, HTTP/S, SQL and Oracle Database. Responsibilities will include developing stream processing platform pieces of the application, handling real-time data feeds, participating actively in business/requirements meetings, designing technical solution, communicating with the business and other tech partners, creating to all required project lifecycle documentation and working with the testing team.
Industry-wide Fraud attack rates are up across all payment categories. Fraudsters continue to demonstrate increased sophistication to gain customer information. This position will be instrumental in connecting EFDES to Kafka and the Data Lake to obtain near real time activity helping to detect fraud quicker.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of application development and implementation experience7+ years of JavaEE experience5+ years of build-deploy automation and configuration experience within the Linux and Unix environment

Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to drive the requirements process with both technical and business partners Network Data Mover (NDM) experienceMQ Series Messaging experienceAutosys experienceKnowledge and understanding of multiple source code version control systems in working with branches, tags and labelsStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsAbility to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needsPL/SQL experience

Other Desired Qualifications Experience in designing and developing Application Integration with Core Java, JSON, JavaScript, JDBC and Build tools. JAVA using OJAI, ETL tool such as ABINITIO or HIVE table on top of JSON Experience in Kafka and Data Lake Experience in packaging and deploying applications using tools like Maven, uDeploy, TFS, Anthill Pro and Jenkins. Experience with enterprise system monitoring and high availability architectures such as Splunk Expert knowledge of SDLC methodologies = Agile, waterfall, iterative, etc.Job Expectations

Ability to work on call as assigned
