The EBT-Enterprise SharePoint Platform Operations team is seeking an App Systems Engineer 6 to provide engineering leadership to the Wells Fargo Enterprise SharePoint Platform services team. Enterprise SharePoint Platform Operations is part of the Enterprise Business Technology group and is a shared services organization within Wells Fargo providing SharePoint platform operations support to the enterprise. This organization exclusively delivers all SharePoint services to the Wells Fargo footprint.

This individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, leading team members, developing strategy, researching, installing, configuring, and administering large SharePoint solutions for platforms in Development, Quality Assurance, UAT, SIT, Production and BCP environments. This position is responsible for multiple SharePoint farms that support SharePoint needs for all team members and non-employees (260k-320k users). These SharePoint installations are known to be one of the top 5 deployments related to size and complexity - in the world. Additionally, this individual will work closely with management and other SharePoint engineering teams to determine strategic direction and provide leadership/guidance to less experienced web systems engineers and analysts to deliver quality solutions to the enterprise for SharePoint environments and related systems.

Responsibilities include:

Design Technical Solutions: Work on highly complex projects to gather requirements and then design specialty solutions for infrastructure software.

Lead Operations Strategy and Direction: Develop technology strategies and standards for system components and configurations to ensure the highest levels of availability, manageability and resiliency.

Develops High Performing Team: Mentors web engineers and developers within the area. Consults with them on their development and contributes to their performance reviews. May provide mentoring on occasion to developers or engineers from sister organizations.

Technology Standards: Lead or contribute to the definition and communication of standards established for SharePoint and participate in the setting of technology standards across enterprise.

Provides the strategy and design for complex drift and configuration management solutions for SharePoint.

Directs and contributes to the creation of new documentation and departmental technical procedures for SharePoint Roadmaps, Strategy, Processes and ongoing management or related implementations.

Conceptualizes and identifies opportunities for efficiency and automation efforts to insure consistency among enterprise SharePoint platforms.

Drives the adoption of Enterprise policy and adherence for SharePoint Systems and related systems or infrastructure.

Directs the gathering of performance statistics and metrics to insure capacity and performance meet the needs of the business.

Lead and assist in determining root cause of complex issues and incident management.

Directs, research, understands and recommends solutions for Enterprise SharePoint Solutions and strategy; including the use of third-party tools and the approach to integrate those tools into existing or newly developed processes.

Manage change related activities and drift tracking across all enterprise SharePoint infrastructure and services.

Authors, updates, and leverages complex PowerShell scripts and available tools to automate farm, server, and vulnerability solutions.
