Enterprise Contact Center Technology Operational Excellence Engineering is a cross-functional team within Contact Center Technology focused on driving the maturity of People, Process, and Technology to continuously improve operational stability, achieve higher efficiency in delivery and reduce operational risk.
This candidate will work within the Operational Excellence Engineering team as an Application Systems Engineer (ASE), leading the design, development and implementation of new process automations and continuously improving the operational maturity of the systems and processes by leveraging Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence and other technologies.

Responsibilities include
Analysis, design, develop, test and provide technical oversight over new technology or business process automation projects and implementing proactive operational controls (monitors / alerts) for applications
Accountable for leading multiple automation projects at any given time.
Responsible for producing functional system design and technical solution design documents and interface data mapping. Must also conduct walk through meetings of the produced documents with impacted technical/system groups, testing groups, servicing groups, and business groups.
Support technical and testing groups in root cause analysis of system defects.
Acts as a liaison between business and technical organizations by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements.
Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Prepares specifications for system changes.
May develop systems test plan components and test scripts.
May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies.
May provide direction and/or guidance to less experienced staff.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of application development and implementation experience10+ years of Middleware experience5+ years of experience in application automation and integration5+ years of information technology systems design and planning experience; in data, systems, applications, or architecture

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsVirtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environmentKnowledge and understanding of Planning and Designing Production and Disaster Recovery network solutionsAbility to analyze metrics and articulate data trends both visually and verbally2+ years of experience in an advanced automation environment such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Robotic Desktop Automation (RDA) or Artificial Intelligence (AI)Knowledge and understanding of automation and engineering release developmentKnowledge and understanding of technology testing: automation and data automation Strong collaboration and partnering skillsAbility to lead projects/initiatives with high risk and complexityA BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
