Job Description:

The Enterprise Information Security remote access organization is seeking a BI developer with expertise in Tableau and related technologies to develop and maintain reporting on information security KPIs and service quality metrics. In addition the position will work as part of a team to integrate dynamic reports into .Net web applications. Attention to detail will be important in this role as business decisions will be made in response to metrics provided

Required Qualifications

7+ years of application development and implementation experience6 + years of Tableau Dashboard development experience5+ years of SQL experience5+ years of data collection and reporting experience5+ years of technical documentation and publication experience3+ years of experience with T-SQL basic querying or SP usage2+ years of experience with data analysis and documentation1+ year of information security experience3+ years of analytical experience

Desired Qualifications

Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated SQL skills to include the ability to write complex queries, and database knowledge in order to analyze data sources across a variety of sources
  • 2+ years of Splunk experience writing queries and developing dashboards
  • Experience designing and managing Splunk Dashboards, reports, lookup tables, and summary indexes, including Splunk SPL
  • Experience writing Splunk regular expressions to extract key tokens of data into meaningful fields
  • SSRS; SSIS knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of TSQL with experience ranging from table design to query optimization techniques
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 thru 2016
  • SQL Management Studio
  • Knowledgeable with setting up stored procedures functions & views
  • Possess expertise in database analysis and design.
  • Direct experience with analyzing large, complex data sets.
  • Demonstrated ability to move data between production systems and across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot existing code to correct both coding and data problems across multiple servers and against multiple databases to complete daily work requirements
  • Knowledge in using and administering Tableau Server.
  • Experience in agile, scrum development environments
