The senior business intelligence (BI) role is intended to be a mentor to less experienced team members. To be successful, a person in this senior role must be highly technical with broad application experience within a reporting or similar business intelligence structure. A person in this senior role must be able to communicate with a diverse audience. A person in this senior role will have frequent interactions with internal customers, partners, and team members to provide BI solutions that best fit the needs of the customer and serve the greater interests of Wells Fargo.

Potential Lines of Business the candidate will have interactions with: IFS, Front and Middle Office, the Private Bank, Abbot Downing, and other technology groups.

Additionally, the person in this senior role is responsible for implementing moderate to highly complex solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), Business Intelligence Publisher (BI Pub), and Data Visualization (DV) application administration, configuration, performance tuning, upgrades, patching, security configuration, performance monitoring, deployments, and usage reporting Coordinating WebLogic Server and Apache upgrades and configuration, to meet baseline policy and security configuration requirements. Coordinating Business Continuity Planning (BCP) simulations and exercises Application security configuration through Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services (AD) Assist in user inactivity cleanup Active monitoring of the reporting environment Required Qualifications

7+ years of application development and implementation experience3+ years of Business Intelligence (BI) tool server administration experience5 + years of WebLogic or WebSphere experience5+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata

Desired Qualifications

Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsExposure to Wells Fargo PAC2000 -WF's ticketing system based on Remedy application3+ years of UNIX experience3+ years of Linux experienceAutosys experienceCA Siteminder experienceMS Active Directory experienceKnowledge and understanding of technology deployment and monitoring of clustered applicationsKnowledge and understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Other Desired Qualifications Apache Web Server experience is a plus Wells Fargo Business Continuity Administration (BCA) certification is a plus Financial Services Industry Knowledge Understanding of Application Lifecycle Management Demonstration of efficient scripting skills Creative thinking with an eye towards automationJob Expectations
