Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

Wells Fargo Wholesale Loan Services Technology division is seeking a Java/J2EE engineer to provide technical consultation and support in the development of computer applications and programs for the Credit Online Transaction System (COLTS) application which is a front-end to the AFS mainframe System of Record. The selected candidate will analyze business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions. Develops original and/or complex code or provides coding guidance to less experienced staff. Leads and/or performs modeling, simulations and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Participates in overall systems testing. Leads the migration of applications to production. Develops new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides. Able to work independently. As an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems. Leads projects, including assignment of tasks, and provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan.

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business units risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of application development and implementation experience5+ years of application development experience4+ years of JavaEE experience4+ years of Java experience3+ years of experience with database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2

Desired Qualifications

Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills2+ years of Weblogic experience2 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI or Angular JS)

Other Desired Qualifications Knowledge of automated build/deployments and continuous integration of java based web applications such as: SVN, Anthill, Github, Jenkins, uDeploy, etc Ability to effectively communicate with individuals within all levels of technical and non-technical skills Experience with Software Development Life Cycle Experience in using Jasper reports for generating reportsDisclaimer
