Enterprise Information Securitys (EIS) vision is to provide Wells Fargo world leading cyber security risk management. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, EIS protects Wells Fargos infrastructure, corporate data, and customer assets, and ensures alignment with applicable regulations and laws. EIS is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer.

Job Description:

Participates in interactions with encryption technology vendors helps to ensure vendor product engineering is in line with the objectives and security requirements of Wells Fargo and coordinates with the vendor support Team to ensure issues impacting Wells Fargo are resolved quickly and effectively. Participates in interactions with technical, engineering and non-technical partners across the Enterprise for application level encryption technologies. This individual will work with different applications teams and help analyze the application to effectively encrypt confidential/restricted data at the application level. This would include doing coding/programming work on applications as well as with APIs and other tools.

A Successful Candidate would process the following skills:

  • Must have senior level applications design, development and engineering experience for n-tier architecture spanning multiple applications.
  • Must have experience in designing and developing secure applications hosted on different application servers and with applications written in procedural and non-procedural languages.


Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 2+ years of information security experience
  • 3+ years of development experience with one or more of the following: Java, C++, C#, C, or .NET
  • 8 + years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles
  • 6+ years of Web Services experience
  • 3 + years of Windows or Linux scripting experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Python experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology support: encryption infrastructure servers or appliances



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with application servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat etc. in the role of application developer/admin.
  • Specific experience with engineering/support of Voltage SecureData
