Within the Human Resources & Intranet Technology team we are seeking an experienced Application Systems Engineer to support a suite of in-house developed .NET applications supporting HR functions within Wells Fargo.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create original .NET code in support of HR .NET applications following our existing development standards
  • Maintain and support ongoing code changes to existing applications
  • Unit test assigned development components
  • Provide consultation and guidance on requirements, design and testing efforts
  • Create some functional system design documents
  • Stay current on WF development standards around security and compliance
  • Provide consultation on industry trends and identify opportunities around new technology

    This role requires a candidate to have in-depth expertise and experience in using the .NET development suite. Our applications leverage Oracle, SQL Server and DB2 backend databases.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 5+ years of ASP.Net experience
  • 5+ years of C# experience
  • 5+ years of MS SQL server experience
  • 5 + years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 3+ years of Oracle experience
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
  • Exposure to Wells Fargo TFS (Team Foundation Server)

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with infrastructure capacity planning, patching processes, architecture and design of failover capable redundant systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in application architecture of complex, integrated .NET applications, and be able to design, plan and implement a multifaceted technical architecture roadmap.
  • 3+ years of experience and proven success in developing strong relationships with business partners, SME's of external systems, stakeholders of major IT programs.
  • 4+ years of knowledge and experience in developing enterprise scale applications in compliance with Wells Fargo or other large corporate environment experience.
  • Ability to mentor and develop less experienced technical and business analyst resources on the application team.
