Job Description
This position will be focused on business rules development utilizing FICO Blaze and Drools for Wholesale Lending Technologies.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Provide technical consultation and support in the development of computer applications requiring externalized business rules.
  • Analyze business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions.
  • Lead and/or perform modeling, simulations and analysis efforts.
  • Develop new documentation and participates in the development of department technical procedures.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 4 + years of experience with business rules management systems such as: Ilog, Jrules, Blaze, or Drools
  • 3 + years of experience analyzing business requirements and transforming those requirements into business rules
  • 3+ years of ANT or Maven experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading the requirement design process with both technical and business partners

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 1+ year of Agile experience
  • 3+ years of Spring experience
  • 1+ year of BPM development experience
  • 1+ year of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • Knowledge and understanding of web service: work flow and business rules domain
  • Basic web development skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with development tools such as Eclipse IDE, XmlSpy, SVN, Artifactory, Git, Gradle, Jenkins, uDeploy, and JIRA.
  • Experience with test tools such as FitNesse, JUnit, Mockito and SoapUI
  • Basic understanding of the business lending process
  • Experience with Tomcat or Weblogic Application Server
