This role is an Application Engineer role that will be engaged with implementing sound ETL design, development and review processes that comply with all Enterprise design and security guidelines. In addition this role will have a significant contribution to the technology roadmap to build the Customer Due Diligence platform of the future.

The Customer Due Diligence platform is a highly visible, high-priority set of applications residing on multiple technologies. The platform is used across all Wholesale LOBs and is pivotal to merger and acquisition activity. The platform will be used by 1,000s of internal users who are onboarding and supervising up to 300,000 clients.

A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of best development practices that lead to a stable production environment, good knowledge of relevant development and monitoring tools, and the ability to work with project managers and provide project leadership when required. This is a very challenging environment. This application is undergoing a lot of change with multiple efforts going on simultaneously. The role is hands-on and will get involved in technical intricacies to assist team in problem resolution needed to meeting committed timelines.

Additional responsibilities include

  • Coordinating with offshore development teams
  • Support ad-hoc report requests for reporting analysis and data issue investigation
  • Required Qualifications

    5+ years of application development and implementation experience5+ years of Oracle experience5+ years of PL/SQL experience3+ years of technical documentation and publication experience3+ years of data analysis experience3+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience2+ years of UNIX experience3 + years of experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning

    Desired Qualifications

    Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills1+ year of application production support experienceExperience designing and optimizing complex SQL queries involving table joins and correlated sub-queries on large scale data tablesA BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
