Job Description

We are looking for an experienced software developer to join the Human Resources Systems Group for Wells Fargo & Company. As a member of the HR Systems team, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of technology professionals in five locations: San Francisco, Charlotte, Minneapolis, Phoenix and Hyderabad. You will contribute to a variety of system applications used by 280,000 Wells Fargo Team Members in more than 30 countries, 84 lines of business, and over four million external job seekers.


Responsibilities include:
Create designs to improve payroll and recruitment functions for Wells Fargo.
Production Support: develop and unit test original code and modifications in PeopleSoft proprietary languages, including PeopleSoft pages, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Packages, Component Interface, and Integration Broker.
Perform technical analysis to support planning efforts.
Work closely with latest versions of PeopleSoft.
Note: Location preference for onsite in Minneapolis, MN, however will consider highly qualified applicants for a full-time telecommute / work from home situation.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 3+ years of PeopleSoft experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
  • Knowledge and understanding of application lifecycle, from design and development to testing, implementation and production support
  • Ability to develop or support high availability, high volume transaction processing systems
  • Extensive technical writing skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Cobol



Other Desired Qualifications


3+ years of development experience with: PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine and SQR.
Experience developing and supporting Human Resources applications.
Experience with PeopleTools object types, including Integration Broker, Application Package, and Oracle BI Publisher.
Experience supporting or maintaining applications in a DB2/zOS environment.
