Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargos more than 70 million global customers.

The Lead Developer will spearhead the development of the research platform to support Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM) fundamental investment teams managing $480 billion located in Menomonee Falls, San Francisco, Boston, LA, Charlotte and London. In this new role, you will lead application design, development, testing and integration through all phases of the SDLC. Code quality, security and nimbleness are of utmost importance as is the ability to partner successfully with teams across the firm. We view this new Lead Developer role as critical to the future success of WFAM.

The successful candidate will:

Act as internal expert to technology and business groups, enabling and supporting the adoption of cutting edge technologies by investment teams
Build strong relationships with investment teams, analysts and developers
Build, develop and manage a high-performing portfolio research and construction platform to support investment teams spanning multiple locations
Demonstrate outstanding drive and focus on delivering new capabilities to WFAM investment teams
Recruit, mentor and manage supplemental staff

Required Qualifications

10+ years of application development and implementation experience8+ years of C#.NET experience8+ years of investment industry experience8 + years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles 4 + years of AngularJS experience

Desired Qualifications

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills8+ years of relational database experience

Other Desired Qualifications

Ability interact confidently with counterparts at all levels within the firm
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or the equivalent work experience
Experience of portfolio construction and research processes, including related software applications and tools
Experience with data sourcing, cleansing and distribution
Experience with Market Data Feeds
Experience designing and developing user interfaces
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Demonstrated ability collaborate with teams spanning a range of locations
Awareness of real-time and batch distributed technologies
Vendor management experience
Experience with technologies such as C#, R, Python
