The ADS Integration Services Team is responsible for supporting and enhancing the inventory of Web Services that provide other systems access to the data layer for the Account, Transfer and Reconciliation related business functions. We are a high growth and geographically distributed team with 40+ team members across three cities in the USA (Charlotte, Richmond and St. Louis) and two cities in India (Bangalore and Hyderabad).

This postion is a Technical Lead responsible for leading a group of system engineers in the support and enhancement of our web service applications. The primary focus for this individual will be owning all new development and modifications in support of the fulfilment of project requirements. They will work with the our Technical Analysts to understand the design deliverables. They will assist with scoping and planning of quarterly project related code deployments, delegation and oversight of the development assignments and coordinate with the offshore technical lead to make sure the entire team is keeping up with demand. Their responsibilities will also include code reviews, designing artifacts and deliverables from junior team members. Taking the lead to solve problems within area of control quickly and decisively, while understanding of when to escalate issues outside area of control. As their experience increases, they will liklely be called on to support any production issues that are identified. Some emergency work could be needed from time to time at nights and on weekends, but this is very limited as we have an offshore team that is online during our nights.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 5+ years of C# experience
  • 5+ years of .net experience
  • 5+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 5+ years of SOA (Services Oriented Architecture) experience
  • 5+ years of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) development experience
  • 3+ years of SQL experience
  • 3+ years of Multi-Threading Experience
  • 3+ years of relational database experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • MQ Series Messaging experience
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
  • UML (Unified Modeling Language) experience
  • Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Brokerage, banking or other financial services experience
  • Knowledge of Splunk and App Dynamics
  • Mid-tier server side technologies within a multi-tier environment
  • Ability to create functional and technical requirements, build specifications and documentation
  • Explain Plans, Query Optimization and Performance Tuning
  • Object serialization and mapping
  • Ability to train and mentor junior developers
