Enterprise Services and Portfolio Management (ESPM) CIO organization is responsible for running investment optimization, technology portfolio management, enterprise services, and application rationalization of all applications used within Wells Fargo Technology. The organization is focused on defining technology strategy and solutions for the tools and data supporting IT Business Process Management and Enterprise Business Process Management functions.

We are currently seeking an experienced Apps Systems Engineer for an opportunity to embrace a technology transformation and provide technical support, maintenance, and relationship management for a suite of applications aligned to Enterprise Services and Portfolio Management (ESPM). The successful candidate will join a talented team focused on Enterprise Portfolio & Business Process Management service availability, maintenance, vulnerability remediation, and operational readiness activities. This role represents an exciting opportunity to become a core contributor to the Chief Technology Officers transformation agenda to accelerate Wells Fargos Speed, Stability and Scalability!

Responsibilities include:

Level 2 production support including; resolution of complex technical issues, providing expertise with vendor applications and infrastructure and configurations. Responsible for the continual update and maintenance of applications and systems, including routine updates, vulnerability remediation, capacity assessments and technology refreshes. Middleware installation and configuration. Lead the resolution of complex issues or escalates as needed to meet established service level agreements. Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex computer application problems or restore service. Monitor batch cycles and troubleshoot to root cause during failures. Managing Change events, including enhancements, upgrades and patching. Actively monitor the environments. Provide input to Service Level Agreement reporting and participate in Audit reviews. Strategically analyze complex business problems and develop solutions, including designing and creating IT Service Management solutions. Partner and collaborate with EIT business partners, not limited to

o Enterprise Change Mgmt and Incident Management
o Enterprise Compute Services
o Enterprise Data Management
o Enterprise Network Services
o Middleware Services
o End User Computing
o Enterprise Technology Asset Management

Lead and guide applications teams to success in large enterprise initiatives, not limited to:

o Safety and Soundness
o Technology Health Refresh
o SDLC
o Other regulatory and compliance initiatives

Lead and drive projects, track and maintain accountabilities, and follow through to completion. Act as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting. Act as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Analyze business requirements and to identify the key resources that Manage and balance risk while making sound decisions in high pressure situations. Mentor & lead less experience team membersRequired Qualifications

7+ years of application development and implementation experience5+ years of Red Hat Linux or UNIX experience5+ years of distributed servers platform experience3+ years of client relationship management experience

Desired Qualifications

Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills5+ years of Windows OS administration experience2+ years of ServiceNow experience

Other Desired Qualifications Knowledge and understanding of technology development: high-availability and high volume transaction processing systems Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills A BS/BA degree or higher Knowledge and understanding of project management principles and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership 3+ year of leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring Knowledge of .Net, Java, software lifecycle release tools (UDeploy, Subversion, Github), workflow tools, or other experience in application support. Knowledge of infrastructure and/or application support and maintenance processes not limited to EACO, vulnerability remediation, DMAN/AMCT, enhanced monitoring solutions, etc Exposure to Wells Fargo Wells Fargo Remedy Asset Management (PAC2000) application Basic understanding of networking concepts. Knowledge and skill set in:

o CA Autosys
o NDM
o SSIS
o IIS
o Basic SQL Server Administration
o PAC200/Remedy Administration/Application Support
