KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Effective analysis, troubleshooting and accurate problem solving of technical application related incidents / tickets.


    • Identify issue types, severity and dispatch, raise priority awareness upon severity
    • Capture enough information to identify the problem including attempt to replicate the problem and (a) immediately fixable, learn from existing level 2 support and to provide level 2 support; (b)if a proposed enhancement, a detectable bug, capture enough description for the issue, add clear description to corresponding project backlog and follow up with Business Owners to address prioritization.

  • Provide clear documentation pertaining to the solution. Structure the documentation in a way that can be used for self-services in the future.
  • Maintains written resolutions to frequent application problems, verify the resolution with existing level 2 support and train end users on resolution.
  • Following up with issues to ensure timely resolution and incident closure
  • Learn and become the core application support including level 2
  • Other duties, as assigned.
  • Interact with clients to help troubleshoot and resolve complex technical application problems/issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex client questions or problems over the telephone/email in the areas of system configurations/setup, product functionality/integration, and defects/enhancements

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS



  • 1- 2 years minimum previous experience in an application support role.
  • Superb verbal and written communications skills.
  • Experience completing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge in MS Windows based environment.
  • Wide range of working knowledge to troubleshoot applications.
  • Knowledge of tracking tools and/or ticketing systems.
