The Chief Technology Office Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team is a solutions delivery team that provides Application Performance Management (APM) services to all Line of Business (LOB) technology teams within Wells Fargo. We provide monitoring solutions and capabilities that application teams can leverage to research and resolve performance issues which impact application availability and service level agreements. We work with wide ranging technologies across front-end, middleware and back-end parts of the application framework and provide on-boarding, configure custom dashboard views and alerting, performance expert consultation and training services to our application development and support partners.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Deliver customer-centric service and monitoring solutions using agile and good risk management processes. On-boarding of applications to AppDynamics across Wells Fargo to enable monitoring and alerting with best practices and standard APM tools. Establish customized monitoring dashboards, thresholds, alerting to fully enable Wells Fargo application and support teams. Verify program monitoring tool configuration by overseeing the configurations to ensure proper monitoring is in production. Serve as a subject matter expert on APM tools. Understanding complex application frameworks and flows and assist with developing and implementing custom monitoring solutions. Develop new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. On-call rotation support. Demonstrate outstanding communication, flexibility, teamwork and leadership.Required Qualifications

7+ years of application development and implementation experience2+ years of AppDynamic experience5 + years of experience troubleshooting environments across the entire architecture (i.e. applications to infrastructure)3+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both; or a BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis

Desired Qualifications

Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills1+ year of Configuration Management Tools experienceKnowledge and understanding of technology testing: web-based applications developed in Java or .net framework1+ years of experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies

Other Desired Qualifications Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices. Experience with application monitoring tools such as Introscope, Dynatrace, Tealeaf. Unix\Linux experience and/or Windows server administration experience. Knowledge and understanding of operations performance management metrics development. Knowledge and understanding of Splunk, Elasticsearch or similar logging tools.Job Expectations
