Application Developer in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH


4 MONTH CONTRACT (Possible Contract to PERM)


As an Application Developer Lead (Informatica), you will be a part of C&IB (Corporate & Institutional Banking) Data Management team and will play a leading role in building a new Consolidated Data Mart. The Consolidated Data Mart sources data from a variety of data sources across C&IB and aims to achieve a single version of truth by performing data integration across these disparate sources.


Working with business partners, developers and other stakeholders you will perform activities related to data analysis, data architecture, data modeling and code development. You will prepare design artifacts enabling developers to build ETL code and/or dashboards and will work with other team members to ensure the overall quality of team deliverables. You will also lead efforts to migrate code to higher environments and supervise production support activities.


You will require the following skills


- Experience with Data Integration tools - Informatica (preferred)


- Experience with Oracle, Teradata or SQL Server (Teradata is the database used but will except someone with oracle or SQL Server experience instead.)


- Experience working with large scale/enterprise wide Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects


- In depth knowledge of data mart design and dimensional modeling.


- Strong database development skills (SQL and PL/SQL or T-SQL)


- Experience with one of more BI reporting tools a plus OBIEE (preferred), Tableau, etc.


- Strong analytic and problem solving skills


- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and requirements to technical staff and business partners


- Ability to multi-task and work in a high-paced development environment


Job Profile


- Leads in the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.


- Directs business assessment and requirements analysis processes, for the development of hardware and operating systems .


- Analyses features such as feasibility, associated costs, time, and the compatibility of new programs with existing programs, and hardware. Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved .


- Coordinates coding, testing, implementation and documentation of application solutions .


- Performs complex application programming activities including, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining, and modifying complex applications programs
