Our direct client in Addison is looking for an Application Analyst (AA) who can implement, support and maintain credit applications in a NOC environment. In this role, you will also work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) and Software Engineering (SE) in small Scrum teams to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage and maintain credit applications in Microsoft Windows systems.
  • Administer and support core Microsoft technologies.
  • Implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans.
  • Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will perform in a hands-off environment.
  • Define and document best practices and support procedures.
  • Provide after-hours support for Customer Service related emergencies and occasional weekend maintenance.
  • Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
  • Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of Windows Server (2008/2012) / desktop Operating Systems (7/10)
  • Understanding of Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) administration and configuration
  • Understanding of LAN/WAN networking
  • Proficient in Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration
  • Ability to monitor systems and applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Windows Server and back bone infrastructure issues
  • Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Qualifications

  • Shift is Monday-Friday 7 AM - 4 PM
  • Must be available to work after hours and weekends occasionally.
  • Must be able to participate in an "on-call" rotation and accept calls after hours and on weekends in order to respond to the needs of a 24x7 support environment.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent attention to detail.

Education / Certifications

  • Associate's degree from an accredited program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent technical training in related technologies required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
