What we are looking for:

The Enterprise Information Technology - Artificial Intelligence Technology team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Analytic Consultant to lead team responsible for helping to optimize the work on Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) projects. This person will be a key contributor to the Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning strategy on the technology side as well as partnering with the data scientist community across the firm. As a machine learning expert, you will be resposible to identify new opportunities to apply Machine Learning to different parts of the Wells Fargos business.You will also play a key role in developing tools and abstractions that our other developers will build on top of.

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Will engage in project specific activities as part of product development, as well as perform R&D work, develop tools and assets to support advanced AI development tasks.
  • Ensure apps/models align with enterprise model process and are optimized for production usage. Follow complete SDLC process.
  • Lead and contribute to new technology , product assessments and proof of concepts to include definition scope, requirements, success criteria, documenting.
  • Develops standards and guidelines for usage and leading technology adoption for both tech and user community.


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling
  • 2+ years of Python experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with NoSQL tool such as Hadoop, Pig ,Spark, H2O etc.
  • Ph.D. or M.S. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
  • 2 years of work or educational experience in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++ or Python
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Deep learning, Natural Language Processing, text understanding, classification, pattern recognition, recommendation systems, targeting systems, ranking systems or similar.
  • Publication in peer-reviewed journals is a plus.
  • Full stack experience in data collection, aggregation, analysis, visualization, productionization, and monitoring of data science products.
