Wells Fargos Chief Administrative Office (CAO) consists of enterprise functions that work together to promote and protect the Wells Fargo culture and brand, and support our team members. The Data Management Solutions (DMS) organization within Data Management & Insight provides holistic and consistent data management capabilities to Wells Fargo. This includes domain management, data quality monitoring, metadata management, data lake management, and master/reference data management.

This newly created role will report to the Risk and Regulatory Data Analytics Leader and partner with Data Management Solutions/Data Management & Insight leaders, strategists, and line of business partners to plan and execute program-specific Risk and Regulatory reporting activities. The person in this role will lead the team performing deep dive data analytics on all in-scope risk and regulatory reports.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Be a significant contributor in the Deep Dive Data Analytics team.
  • Work closely with the Report Owners, Data Providers, and EC&O for each risk and regulatory report and be responsible for setting the direction and timelines for deep dive activities.
  • Work closely with the documentation team, fit for purpose team, and data remediation team on interdependencies.
  • Provide status updates and other key metrics to the senior and executive leadership & other key stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with various stakeholder groups and assist in answering queries and providing relevant information.
  • Develop training material and provide training and overview to stakeholders and team members as needed.
  • Responsible for delivering analysis, insights and the decision strategies function for an area with impact across a business line(s) or with some enterprise-wide impact.
  • Provide leadership to the transformation of data into information and provides information and strategic insight that will assist leaders decision-making relative to corporate .products, services and process improvements that impact business outcomes.
  • Build analytical capabilities and manage reporting and/or data distribution tools and processes.
  • Manage through other managers and/or senior consultants to accomplish objectives.

Who We Are:

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling
  • 5+ years of risk and regulatory compliance experience
  • 2+ years of experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools
  • 2+ years of relational database experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Designation
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of regulatory and risk report hierarchies
  • Proven experience presenting status reports to Sr. Leaders on project initiatives
