About Wells Fargo EGS (India) Private Limited

We are hiring for a position in Wells Fargo EGS (India) Private Limited.We are a critical component of the Wells Fargo strategy to leverage distinct advantages of a global environment.
Currently we are 12000+ strong team members with 3 locations (Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad) in India and 1 center in Manila.


The Community Banking Review Standards (CBRS) team partners and collaborates with Community Banking businesses in executing testing and validation activities to opine on a broad spectrum of risks including:
  • Consumer Protection
  • Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering
  • Regulatory Compliance Risk
  • Operational Risk
  • Information Security Risk
  • Conduct Risk
  • Internal Policy

The primary responsibilities of the analytic consultant will be preparing in-depth analysis of regulatory and operational risk data, creating sample data for testing and validation, providing the CBRS team with superior methods to view and interrogate analytical results, and making process improvement recommendations.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform data extracts and data analysis involving large data sources
  • Interpret and present the results of analyses in a clear and meaningful manner
  • Consult with Community Banking Review Standards testing and validation teams to understand the need for sample data, determine best methodology and data availability, perform analysis and gain user acceptance of results.
  • Involvement in the technical build-out and/or support of databases, query tools, reporting tools, BI tools and dashboards that enable analysis and data visualization.
  • Responding to ad-hoc requests for data and/or presentations from management.


Minimum educational qualification :
BA/B Sc (3 years) preferably in Applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences



Desired skills :
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of data organizing or structuring complex data across varied data sources
  • Ability to research, trend, and analyze data
  • Ability to summarize and recommend new strategies/solutions
  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding the financial services industry
  • Teradata experience
  • MS SQL server experience
  • Oracle experience
  • VB (Visual Basic) experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills
  • SharePoint skills
  • Community banking experience
