Analysis Engineer

The Electrical Analysis Engineer is responsible for the analysis of warranty and other failure returns for automotive radar sensors.

Specific Duties:

  • Complete analog, digital, or RF circuits analysis, identify component failures, evaluate radar performance issues and capture related data into Analysis Issue database
  • Perform analysis and experiments to determine cause of identified defects
  • Collaborate with supplier quality organization to address component related issues
  • Partner with manufacturing facilities to identify and address production related issues
  • Perform engineering responsibilities according to Autoliv standards
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field, MSEE a plus
  • 3+ years of experience working spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, source meters, curve tracers, digital imaging station, J-Tag emulators, proprietary test utilities, production test stations, scripting languages, and environmental test chambers
  • Familiarity with 5-Why, Fault Tree, and other root cause techniques and tools, 8D (8 Discipline), 5P (5 Phase) and other reporting formats is a plus
  • Experience with MCUs, DSPs, ARM processors, or other embedded system processors, as well as familiarity with C, Python, or NI TestStand is also helpful
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Occasional travel may be required.
