The Controllers Division is responsible for the accuracy of the Companys financial statements, establishing corporate accounting policies, preparing SEC and regulatory reports and ensuring the adequacy of internal controls.

This role is a derivative valuation specialist within the newly created enterprise-wide center of excellence group that will be responsible for ensuring accurate valuations of and performing validation processes across all capital markets products, including but not limited to derivatives and securities. The candidate will be responsible for the consistent application of consistent derivative price validation policies throughout the corporate wide derivative population. The position requires an in-depth understanding of various valuation techniques, models and model inputs. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and quantitative skill sets. Individual will be expected to provide leadership, assist with problem identification and solutions, and share best practices.

This role will be required to frequently interact with senior management, business unit leaders, internal and external auditors, regulators and other business partners. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player and a self-starter who is accustomed to working in complex organizations, partnering with a diverse group of stakeholders, and achieving results. The candidate should be flexible, be able to withstand challenges and adapt accordingly.

This role requires a highly organized individual that is able to multi-task effectively and can quickly grasp complex instruments. Excellent planning and communication skills are required as this position needs to be highly skilled in anticipating and articulating issues and communicating those issues to various audiences within the organization. Modeling knowledge related to a variety of models will be helpful to be effective in this role.

Required Qualifications

6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: analytics, reporting, financial modeling, statistical modeling, finance, or accounting; or a BS/BA or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics or Business and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: analytics, reporting, financial modeling, statistical modeling, finance, or accounting2+ years of capital markets experience

Desired Qualifications

A BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasisExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to articulate complex concepts in a clear mannerAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to manage multiple and competing prioritiesAbility to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
